The Story of UNCUT NYC
New York City nightlife knows that when one shouts LOCA!, there’s only one possible response: LOUIS LOCA.
In the summer of 2001, with the launch of Loca Entertainment, Louis M. then started “Uncut” at the legendary Stonewall. The party offered a unique slice of the city and made quite the stir in the diverse club scene along with some of NYC’s hottest DJs and performers. The party received a re-invention when it opened its doors at Club Elevate.
Uncut is now a gay Latin-inspired party, undeniably with lots of Latin flavor. Unlike other parties, however, “Uncut” strives in its diversity. It’s a melting pot of gay, straight, bisexual, curious and everything in between. “Uncut” offers something for everyone from the infamous pinga contest to the cash giveaways. The party also offers ample diversity in music with the best DJs playing house and hip hop on the main level and salsa, merengue, reggaeton and freestyle in the lower level. And because Loca believes in going green, there are plenty of weekly recession specials such as: no cover before 11 p.m., $1 drink specials or try the free shots at midnight!
